Refund policy
At UnlockRiver, we are committed to providing a reliable and legal mobile phone unlocking service for a hassle-free experience. However, we understand that exceptional circumstances may arise that require special consideration. Below, we outline our refund policies for your information and convenience.
No refund is applicable in the following cases.
*For android and iPhone devices:
- Incorrect IMEI and processed unlock request: If the provided IMEI number is incorrect and the unlock request has been processed, unfortunately, we will not be able to offer a refund.
- Processed order and cancellation requested: Once the order has been processed, we cannot cancel it, regardless of the reason. It is important to consider this detail before proceeding with the request.
- Previously unlocked phone: If the phone has been unlocked before our intervention, unfortunately, we proceed with the entire unlocking process regardless of the phone’s status.
- Blacklisted phone: If the phone is blacklisted due to reasons such as loss, theft, or non-payment, we cannot process the refund.
*Exclusively for android devices:
- Exhausted unlock attempts: If unlock attempts have been exhausted (0 attempts remaining), we cannot issue a refund. In exceptional situations, we may provide a code to reset the attempts, but we are not responsible if the device has exceeded the attempt limit.
- Device not requesting unlock code: The customer must ensure that the device requests an unlock code when a non-accepted SIM card is inserted. We cannot process refunds if the device does not meet this requirement, except for T-Mobile/MetroPCS and Cricket.
